Everyone’s always talking about a revival or the awakening to happen in our churches, our
workplaces, and in our families.
We all want an awakening and we all long to be used by God and see God work in miraculous
way in our lives.
We’ve heard stories from our grandparents of how God worked miraculously in their day;
how they grew in their faith and were never the same.
The thing we so often miss is:
GOD IS THE SAME
God WANTS to pour out His spirit like in “the old times.”
He’s just waiting on us to call on His name!
So what do we do?
How do we get this awakening?
We have to step out at the deposition of Christ and
let Him take the stage.
God is right here, right now. He is ready to hear your prayers, troubles, requests, and praises.
Psalm 116: 2 “Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breathe.”
Let go of the past… and let God take the stage in your life; whether this means repenting,
forgiving, or both.
1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just and
will forgive us our sins
and purify us from unrighteousness.”
Set your mind on things above.
“ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be
given to you as well.”
Miraculous wonders can start to happen when you allow more of God to enter your life.
Just a moment of His presence leaves the longing heart captivated, and it realizes:
Jesus is everything.
Psalm 63: 2-3
“I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because
your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
This is when you’re going to gain momentum.
Today is time for our awakening.
